The old basement of the Wine Museum of Villa Canestrari in the Illasi Valley, heart of the wine-making tradition of four generations, since the Bonuzzi family enlarged it and made it a wine ageing cellar, has returned again to represent the production and the refinement of the Amarone della Valpolicella and other fine wines. This was made possible thanks to the restoration of wine-making techniques developed more than a hundred years ago by Carlo Bonuzzi, who graduated in oenology in 1888 from the Royal School of Conegliano Veneto.
